Ethical, Evidence-Based Canine Training

Dogs have been part of our lives for thousands of years, and we treasure the companionship they bring to our homes. However, we are responsible for their mental and physical wellbeing, and without seeing the world from their perspective, we can’t change things for the better.

As a behaviourist, it is my job to underpin the root cause of any problems and understand why your dog has developed these behaviours. Once assessed, I can create a behaviour modification plan tailored to you and your dog, ensuring that training is ethical, safe, humane, and effective.

Canine Behaviour Consultations

I work with a wide range of training issues, from basic puppy work to more serious behavioural challenges such as aggression. Having the correct advice and approach is crucial for success to ensure problems don't escalate.

Every dog is an individual, and what works for one may not work for another. During a consultation, I will visit your home to spend time getting to know you and your dog. We’ll discuss in depth what’s been happening, create a suitable plan, and get started with relevant training immediately.

You’ll receive a personalised behavioural report and training plan, with ongoing support and advice provided throughout our time together. I may also work closely with your Vet to rule out any underlying medical reasons for problem behaviours.
